Following the buzz of our Launch Lunch, The Facilities Forum was thrilled to host our second event, the “Change Makers Lunch”, on August 28th, 2024. With our community ready for round two, we were fully booked!
The energy in the room was a testament to the growing community of women making waves in the facilities, procurement, and property industries.
Led by our passionate founders – Lisa, Nora, and Sally, the event captured our vision of connecting women in a space that’s not just empowering, but genuinely fun.

The heart of the day was our dynamic panel discussion, featuring three incredible speakers who shared their insights on Diversity, Innovation, and Sustainability.
Trisha Roy, Director of Customer Experience at CBRE, opened with insights on customer-focused innovation, emphasising how technology and data can drive real change. During the event, Trisha expressed,
“I was really excited to be able to meet some amazing women in our industry, we really make a difference in people’s lives,”
as events like these remind us to celebrate how essential and influential we women are.
Dayana Brooke, the powerhouse behind The Sustainable Traveller, left everyone rethinking sustainability not as a buzz word, but something that can be achievable for all businesses. She shared proactive advice on implementing holistic practices and aligning with metrics that truly drive environmental change.
Rounding off the panel, Claire March, Senior People Experience Manager at Envato, explored fresh perspectives on building inclusive workplaces. Her discussions on mental health, remote working environments, and prioritising connection were invaluable in understanding supportive spaces for all employees.
The Four Hundred Bar provided the perfect backdrop for the day – its vibrant atmosphere and excellent service made everyone feel right at home. From the delicious food to the welcoming vibe, the venue added that extra touch that made the event special.
Most importantly, we want to give a heartfelt thank you to everyone who joined us at the Change Makers Lunch. Your energy, insights, and willingness to connect made it another unforgettable gathering. And, of course, a special shoutout to our speakers who filled the room with wisdom and sparked conversations that will continue well beyond the event.
